The Cordova Historical Society is the fiscal sponsor for the Cordova Covered Spaces Project and was the first organization to write a letter of support for the project.

City of Cordova Parks and Recreation Commission votes to support Covered Spaces Project

The Reluctant Fisherman Restaurant hosts the heART Wall and art openings.  Every 60 days a new art installation is celebrated with an Art Opening.  Proceeds from art sale support the Artist and the Cordova Covered Spaces Project.

The Native Village of Eyak board of directors voted to support the Cordova Covered Spaces Project.

The Pioneers of Alaska Women's Igloo #5 wrote a letter of support in August 2023 urging the Cordova City Council to support the Cordova Covered Spaces Project by supporting the building of a  shelter at the Breakwater Park area near the Breakwater Trail. 

CDFU supports the Covered Spaces Project, writes a letter of support on January 18th, 2024.

"On behalf of Cordova District Fishermen United (CDFU), I am writing to express support for the proposed vision of the Breakwater Trail Park improvements near K Float at the Cordova Harbor. We are excited by what a safe, attractive waterfront greenspace with amenities will bring to Cordova’s fishing community."

Eyak Corporation writes letter of support for Covered Spaces in Cordova, Alaska.
